Landfill Remediation Landfill site remediation is a technology that is employed in highly sensitive conditions such as > Groundwater aquifers at risk from uncontrolled leachate > Explosion and fire hazards from flammable gases and gas mixes > High cost of after-care and control, particularly as regards the capture of leachate and gas emissions 2. The SMELL WELL System It Prevents the formation of methane and other odours and hazardous landfill gases. Air is sucked in through a biofilter and forced into the landfill while the gas present in the landfill is extracted and purified by passing it through biofilters. Only this unique (patented) system allows safe and unimpeded work on the landfill site.
