Rural Entrepreneurship Workshop with Pioneer Dom

Theme: How to Turn an Entrepreneurial Concept into Reality
A startup workshop was organized by Pioneer Dome Academy at the MP Startup Center in Bhopal. The theme of the workshop was "How to Turn an Entrepreneurial Concept into Reality." The workshop was addressed by Dr. Abha Rishi, Executive Head of MP Startup Centre, Bhopal; Ms. Manisha Pandey, Head of the Rural Development Department and Livelihood Resource Center at Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal; and Mr. Ramkrishna Sameria, Founder and Purpose Coach at Pioneer Dome Academy. More than 45 urban and rural entrepreneurs and startups from Bhopal and nearby districts participated.
Dr. Abha Rishi provided participants with basic information about startups and explained the necessary criteria to avail the benefits of government schemes. She stated that anyone seeking information or solutions related to startups can contact the MP Startup Center Bhopal.
Ms. Manisha Pandey discussed the work being done by Rabindranath University, particularly for rural startups. She explained that through the university's incubation center, assistance has been provided to several startups in the food processing sector by adding value to agricultural produce. Specifically, startups have been encouraged to explore traditional Indian crops like Kodo, Kutki, and Ragi by providing research-based information to help initiate relevant startups.
In his comprehensive address, Mr. Ramkrishna Sameria emphasized that a startup or entrepreneurial idea is born from solving one's own or nearby problems. He encouraged participants to proceed step-by-step when transforming an idea into a venture. He highlighted that having a positive impact on society is a key factor for a successful venture. He also noted that success requires a clear purpose and well-defined goals. In the present day, capital is no longer a major hurdle for starting a startup or venture; what is needed is clarity of purpose, concrete goals, and patience to move forward step by step.
During the open discussion session, participants' questions were addressed, and many shared their experiences from the workshop. A meaningful discussion took place.
